(The Model)How ownership works

Ownership,
right-sized.

Four steps from waitlist to wheels-up. Five share sizes. Three published numbers. One guaranteed exit. Everything else is our job.

(01)The process

Waitlist to wheels-up
in under ninety days.

Reserve

Request an invitation. Positions are numbered in order of receipt; founding members take priority pricing on the 2027 fleet. Reservation deposits are fully refundable until closing.

Structure

A working session with our ownership team to size your share — 1/60th to 1/4 — against your actual missions, and to structure it for your entity, trust or operating company with your own counsel.

Close

Funds move through licensed aviation escrow. Title to your undivided interest records on the FAA registry, and your share of the aircraft joins your balance sheet as a real, financeable asset.

Fly

Request flights by phone or app. Your aircraft — or an equal-or-better substitute — is positioned within ten hours, crewed, fueled, catered, 365 days a year.

(02)Share schedule

Choose a fraction.
The rest is arithmetic.

Hours scale linearly with share size, on a 780-occupied-hour program year per airframe. Capital figures are indicative and published finally to the waitlist before each allocation.

Share Flt hrs / yr Availability Phenom 300E Challenger 3500 Gulfstream G700

1/32≈25≈50 days$390K$840K$2.5M
1/1650≈100 days$750K$1.6M$4.9M
1/8100≈150 days$1.5M$3.2M$9.7M
1/4200≈220 days$2.9M$6.3M$19.4M

Shares below 1/16 are a Jets.Exchange structure — the industry historically stopped at sixteenths. Hours are occupied flight hours; taxi time is not billed. Unused hours carry forward one program year.

(03)Economics

Three numbers.
No fourth.

Aviation billing has a reputation. We keep ours simple enough to reprint here.

Capital

Paid once at closing for your titled share. Returned at exit via appraised-value repurchase or resale listing.

Monthly

A fixed management fee scaled to your share — crew salaries, hangar, insurance, scheduled maintenance, dispatch. It does not move with fuel prices.

Hourly

An occupied-hourly rate when you fly — fuel, catering, landing and handling. No repositioning or empty-leg charges inside the primary service area.

(04)The alternatives

Against the field.

Jets.Exchange Jet card Charter
Asset on your balance sheet
Price certainty, published in advance
Contractual availability guarantee
Same aircraft & crews each trip
Potential depreciation treatment
Residual value at exit
Entry below $250K

Depreciation treatment depends on your facts and jurisdiction — ask your tax counsel, not a website.

(05)The exit

Leaving should be as clean as arriving.

After a 24-month minimum term, you exit two ways. Sell back to Jets.Exchange at fair market value set by an independent appraiser — contractual, not discretionary. Or list your share on our resale market to qualified buyers, at your price.

Transfers to family entities and trusts are permitted at any time, at no fee. It’s the exchange in Jets.Exchange.

(06)Questions

Asked, answered.

What does a 1/60th share actually get me?+

Roughly thirteen occupied flight hours a year on your aircraft, the same ten-hour callout guarantee as every other owner, interchange rights across the fleet, and a titled asset with residual value. It exists for people who fly 10–15 hours a year and are tired of renting.

How is this different from a jet card?+

A jet card is a prepaid balance on brokered aircraft — an expense. A fractional share is registered title to a specific airframe — an asset. You know your tail number, your crews, and your exit value mechanism before you commit a dollar.

What if my aircraft is unavailable when I call?+

The guarantee attaches to the callout, not the tail. If your aircraft is in scheduled maintenance or positioned elsewhere, we source an equal-or-better substitute at our cost. That obligation sits in the owners’ agreement, not a marketing page.

Who flies and maintains the aircraft?+

Operations run under FAA Part 135 with audited partner operators — two dedicated, type-rated crews per tail, manufacturer maintenance programs, and third-party safety audits. Jets.Exchange manages the program; certificated professionals fly it.

Can I fly a bigger aircraft than the one I own?+

Yes. Interchange lets you trade hours across classes at published conversion rates — own a 1/60th of a Phenom, take the G700 to London. Conversion rates appear in the same schedule as everything else.

What happens if Jets.Exchange fails?+

Your title survives us. Shares are recorded on the FAA registry in your name, not held on our balance sheet. In a wind-down, owners collectively control the airframe through the co-ownership agreement — the aircraft is yours, not our creditors’.

When do the first aircraft arrive?+

First deliveries enter service beginning Q2 2027, with allocations assigned through 2026 in waitlist order. Reserved members can access interim charter at owner-equivalent rates while their aircraft is in build.
